The Way We Live
Christ is our perfect example. He came to earth to show us how to live a life that glorifies God. He did that by serving others no matter whether they were rich, mentally ill, politically powerful, terminally ill, religious leaders, or immoral. Christ reached out to them all; He showed them God’s love, and ultimately paid the highest price by giving His life so that we could have the hope of spending eternity with our Creator.
So what does this mean for how we live? Can we do what Jesus did? Well, not perfectly. But we can certainly be better at bringing visitors to TYC, including new people into our usual group of friends, and doing our best to minister to the needs of our friends. We have the example of Christ, so while we could ask, “What would Jesus do?”, I think the better question is, “Am I doing what Jesus did?”.
